Five Things

Hello!

My recent post on Observations  has created some sort of email mayhem and I want to clarify that I do not hang out with ugly friends to make myself feel better 🙂 You can also use the comment box below the article to discuss your issues. I just wrote this post very objective to tell you what I have observed. No more, no less. I thought I made myself clear when I wrote the post – apparently not. No matter what, do love yourself! This is the most important thing. The other day I enjoyed another guided meditation with Martina Meissner at SEHES again. It was amazing. I simply sat for almost one hour throughout this guided meditation and it was great. After, we all went to Il Corso to eat Pizza. This is a small little pizza place in Fürth am Berg in Neustadt bei Coburg but they have the most amazing pizzas and pasta. My parents, husband and son went as well. The food was really good, fresh and tasty. It felt good to have all the people from my meditation class and my family around at the same time. Of course I enjoyed that my son did not freak out and my husband is here from Congo to enjoy all the things that are so special to me together! Otherwise, this is what we have been up to this week:

Reading: “Mein Herz in deinem Weiten Land” by Sanna Seven Deers. Two new books that are sitting on my nightstand/kindle are: The Dinner by Herman Koch and Wildflower by Drew Barrymore.

Watching:  Not too much actually. I haven’t turned on the TV unless my parents watched Tatort on Sundays. However, I did watch Love by Gaspar Noé on Amazon and it was a nice little love story that turned into a sick love/hate relationship. Sad to watch, but probably true for many couples out there. Be advised that they do show some X-rated stuff – well, actually a lot.

Enjoying: My family and the time I spent here. Also the Christmas Market in Coburg and soon my husband and I have an afternoon at the hot spring Obermaintherme Staffelstein scheduled. Yaaay! I also enjoy that my sister is here with her family. My son plays with their kids and it is awesome to see them interact. So cute! I realize again how important it is to have family and have your family around! I love my family!

Thinking about: The relationship my husband has with our son. They are so awesome together, playing for hours. As a mother, this is something really awesome to observe and enjoy. I am also thinking about next year and what 2016 will bring. I like to start something new. In school I loved to start new folders and make them look nice with post-its and highlighters. A new year always brings a new start and new opportunities. Canada, our house, our projects, Congo, travels and many other changes.

Writing: Tons and tons! Sometimes I feel bad to write every single night for a long time when my husband is here but he even says I should keep up with it. To write daily is not easy, especially if you have a child. My parents are a great help and when I was alone in Connecticut I struggled but managed somehow to be able to write and read to this crazy extend at the moment. I just love it so much and there are so many awesome books out there that I want to read and reviews; and places and thoughts in my head. I could literally write and research  every single day for eight hours straight. This is just a great hobby. Many ask me why I do this. Well, there is just one simple answer. Passion! I love it! I am totally into it and I don’t mind not being able to function without a cup of coffee in the morning after having stayed up until 2am! Life is good. Now. This moment.

Thank you for reading my blog.
