Hello and Happy Monday!<\/p>\n

I have mentioned my favorite movie \u201cAnnie Hall\u201d several times in articles. I can watch and re-watch it over and over. \u00a0I saw Annie Hall at least twenty times by now and I still find passages and quotes that I have never paid too much attention to.<\/p>\n

Woody Allen plays Alvy Singer who is trying to understand why his relationship with Annie Hall (Diane Keaton at her best!) ended. See the opening line here:<\/p>\n

He questioned the emptiness of existence at a very young age which I like because what kid comes up with this? When Alvy meets Annie for the first time they discuss his previous marriages and relationships while using great language to bring his points across. The scene when they try to cook the lobsters in the kitchen is hilarious too. Alvy realized that these were live lobsters he freaks out. \u201cCall 9-1-1, it\u2019s the lobster squad\u201d or Annie: \u201cDon\u2019t be afraid, they are babies?\u201d Alvy: \u201cIf they are babies \u2013 you pick them up. Wait, one crawled behind the refrigerator!\u201d She approaches him with one lobster in her hand and he says: \u201cYou talk to them, you speak shellfish!\u201d<\/p>\n

Even though Alvy is a suffering from some type of neurosis, is suspicious and depressed but the way he feels about life is just honest and true. He describes it as a mix of miserable and horrible and he finds himself somewhere between. Woody Allen is my favorite filmmaker by far and his writing and directing are superb. Doesn\u2019t it seem he comes out with a new movie every year? But nonetheless, each and every one of them is special!<\/p>\n

Last nigh my husband and I finally watched \u201cI Smile Back\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/em> with Sarah Silverman. There is a lot of talk about this movie recently and honestly, even though my husband did not like it at all, I do recommend it. It is very disturbing at points to see Silverman in this role of playing a depressed woman and wife and her struggles with alcohol and drugs. I do know here comedian side very well, so I was waiting for her to make jokes all the time. I have never seen her play and act any serious role like this. I guess it is a women-thing to be more emotional about these things. Have you seen it already? What do you think?<\/p>\n
