Hello!

Better late than never. Today, I had problems with my computer all day long because someone hacked my account for this website. Why anybody would do this, who knows. Fact is, that I was not able to work and write on it for a couple of hours but was able to restore most of it with help from helpful admin people and not too much damage done. Realizing that I put my thoughts out in the open and not locked away in a diary is challenging something. But hacking a website account? C’mon, who ever did this out there. Stop it! On a lighter note: I was able to attend a session with Uwe Meissner form SEHES Haus today and it was amazing. I felt so awesome afterwards, so light and everything is a-okay. I am exactly where I am supposed to be right now. And I am doing the best I can with the possibilities and options I have been given right here and now. To be here in Germany with my family is the best, you guys! I enjoy every single second. What else have I been up to these days?

Reading: I finished “The Heart” by Maylis de Kerangal and am working on a review. In a nutshell, it was pretty well written. More details soon! Otherwise I am still reading “My name is Mahtob: The Story that Began in the Global Phenomenon Not Without my Daughter Continues”  and I love it! It brings back so many memories when I watched the movie and it is very interesting to read about the daughter’s perspective. Do get this book if you enjoyed the movie! What, you haven’t seen the movie? Here the trailer again:

Looking forward to: Spending Christmas with my family here in Germany. It will be nice, calm and with lots of laugher and good homemade food. The way it is supposed to be, I think. More family time and  less stress buying gifts and worrying what everybody might “need”. Just sit together and enjoy each other. What are you doing on Christmas? What are your traditions? We usually stay at home, go for a nice walk in the afternoon and then have dinner all together. Peaceful!

Thinking about: That I arrived in Germany ONE week ago! Where did the time go? Insane, really! Time literally flies by and if we are not careful and plan wisely, we will end up looking back and thinking about all the dreams we had. Then we realize we did not accomplish anything or we didn’t do what we really wanted. Time never stops. I need to keep this in mind more often. ONE week is nothing. I wanted to do, experience and see so much more while I can!

Enjoying: Going out with my friends and seeing them again after almost six months. It is so nice to be able to go to a restaurant or the Christmas Market and simply leave my son with my parents and don’t have to worry, you know. I haven’t had this opportunity too much lately so this is definitely a treat. It is so great to see my son with my mother. They love each other. He is so sweet with her, content and calm. Like he used to be when we lived here since he was born. He was okay in the States as well, but not as calm as he is here. I also enjoy how he loves to eat! He eats everything again. No problem at all. Maybe his picky eating phase was a silent cry of going back to Germany! Who knows! I am also enjoying the fact that I get a haircut tomorrow at my favorite place: Naturhaarfrisör Nicole Reiter. This is an awesome experience every single time. Do book an appointment with her once to see for yourself if you get a chance. She uses the best natural products – no chemicals and her motto is: Back to Nature! which is the only way anyway, I believe. Don’t ever try to work against nature. 😉 It might be okay for a while but not in the long run!

Writing: I am writing reviews for TripAdvisor now which is so much fun. I have so many projects and places I would like to include just in Coburg alone. As you can see, it never gets boring in my little life. I am always up to something which I like. New adventures and new challenges every day that keep life interesting.

Thank you for reading my blog.
